love

dark star light fills the
universe with waves of life
decaying fusion

whispers of former
existence playing along
the gravity wells

elemental fires
search out into the heart of
the darkest deep night

wilding surges of
power broadcast in curtain waves
of radiation

the universe is
humming, thrumming, dancing to
the call from within

- Albert Mullin

tears

the portal he made
took all she had to give: she
only knew how to give

his departing fire
scorched at her unseen beauty
desolate she was

standing in lifeless
waterless, airless ash and char
she first felt her tears

tears that drained her life
into the grass and flower
and wooded surround

a bubble of the
former splendor surrounding
her still stony form

night

endlessly she danced
the cyclical life of the
world in her caring

until the falling
of the wanderer to her
peaceful paradise

only love had she
known, only giving her life
did she understand

the strange who stood
upon her soil never knew
of her loving touch

his eyes full of greed
his heart insulated by
the riches he sought

Wind

lanadvealla
was sole caretaker of this world
world so full of life

she danced as sang the
strength of trees, her feet sinking
into soil of love

her loins gushing forth
the power of water: lake
river and ocean

her heart beat in tune
with the wind and storm, her life
force was the season

her scent was the song
of creatures great and small: bird
fish and all the beasts

stone

she kneels in crumpled
posture as the rain traces
her stony visage

her vigil is now
eternal since the love she
held so tightly died

she once danced beneath
the silver star light filling
this very clearing

her youthful fairy
face upturned to drink of the
sweet song of the stars

the grass and flowers
and wooded surround speak soft
the loss of her laugh
